Heinz W. Wegener
President
Heinz is the founder of Cross, and is responsible for the overall vision and direction of Cross. He was a founder of Wegener Communications in 1978, and worked at Wegener in the engineering, production, and quality areas. He was one of the original Cross staff when Cross started in 1994. Heinz's responsibilities include:

• Corporate vision and management
• New product planning
• General customer interface

Nanalee Wegener
Vice President
Nan handles all financial matters at Cross. She was a founder of Wegener Communications in 1978, and worked at Wegener in the financial area. She was one of the original Cross staff when Cross started in 1994. Nan has been married to Heinz since 1967. Nan's responsibilities include:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Human Resources
• Trade Shows

Jay White
Operations Manager
Jay was Production Manager at Wegener Communications where he worked for 21 years conducting testing, production planning, and production engineering. Jay initially joined Cross as a Senior Technician whose responsibilities included testing, assembling, and documenting products, and interfacing with engineering, assembly, and other functions to provide on-time shipments of all products made by Cross. Jay’s current responsibilities as Operations Manager include:

• Production planning and production of all products
• Inventory planning and management

Neal Dotson
Principal Engineer
Neal worked at Wegener Communications since the early 1980's and was one of the original Cross staff when Cross started in 1994. Neal is an expert in analog hardware design in a broad area. He also manages the Cross PCB CAD system. Neal's prime areas of product design and support include:

• Subcarrier products
• Frequency Converters
• IF to IF Translators
• RF, IF, modulator, demodulator design

Chris Feeney
Senior Engineer
Chris worked at Wegener Communications since the late 1980's and was one of the original Cross staff when Cross started in 1994. He is an expert in hardware and software design. He does much of our controller design, and manages the Cross Mechanical AutoCAD system. Chris' prime areas of product design and support include:

• Embedded Controller hardware and software
• Test Converters
• Protection Switches

Norm Johnson
Vice President - Sales & Marketing
Norm is responsible for the Sales and Marketing activities at Cross. Norm has worked in Marketing and Sales organizations at Honeywell in the past, as well as in Customer Service. Norm has an MSEE and most recently served as a Senior Product Manager of SATCOM Terminals at Honeywell. Norm came to Cross in April 2021 and his responsibilities include:

• Sales, Quotations and Order In-Take
• Marketing, Company Presence for Product Promotions
• Customer Liason for Custom Products
